WHAT IS IESA?
The Evangelical Synodal Church of Angola, is a group of local churches, who accept the doutrine and rules approved by the General synod of the Denomination.

IESA was found on November 30th 1897 in Kalukembe - Huila, by Heli Chatelain, a Swiss missionary, who was tenaciously opposed to the oppression of the blacks and to the slave trade, wich was a current commodity at the time.
